Even then, some veteran presence is useless as Vince Carter was on the Hawks years back and you still had beef leaking to the public between the young players and the vets.

Just because some veteran presence doesn’t work out doesn’t negate its value. When was the last time we saw a young team get to the finals in any sport without veteran presence and leadership?
