I think this is the type of team ex players be talking about when they say it ain’t no veteran presence and it hurts them
Minnesota probably fits that too
Youngest head coach in the league, everyone following Morant's lead since he's in the commercials. Steven Adams ain't rallying no troops. The blind leading the blind

None of it matters though because like I said earlier in here if they flame out again....

The veteran presence talk is a bit overrated as some of those veterans as just as insecure about their playing time instead of mentoring like the team brings them in to do, which is why you see some of them end up being bought out to go elsewhere.

Even then, some veteran presence is useless as Vince Carter was on the Hawks years back and you still had beef leaking to the public between the young players and the vets.

Just because some veteran presence doesn’t work out doesn’t negate its value. When was the last time we saw a young team get to the finals in any sport without veteran presence and leadership?

Last year with the Celtics outside of Horford, who was a key part of their run. I never said it didn’t value, what I said was that you need vets that will know their role and make a big fuss over it.

two things

You can’t just say, “outside of Horford.” That’s not how a discussion works. It wasn’t like he was a bit part playet.

Secondly, the Celtics were a veteran team with a lot of experience, despite their ages.
