@Mikey2Toes
I got sober in 2006, I went to a month long residential treatment, and than spent about 15 months in a halfway house/recovery house, which was really where a lot of my sobriety was developed.
I started smoking and drinking young, like 15/16, started using and selling cocaine at 16, and was using everyday by the time I was a senior in HS, and drinking everyday, in addition to blunts, valium xanax, that kind of thing. By the time I was 21, I was drinking a fifth a day, from 151 to E&J, to Remy, Jack Daniels, bottom shelf whiskey, I was essentially killing myself. I decided to make a choice to get sober, my life had become hardly worth living, and
one of the things drinking does is take everything you really loved and cared about, and replace it with alcohol.
