So, I had organized a little meet up with this chick I've been talking to along with her best friend and she brought her cousin. I brought my best friends to holler and put down on them.
These bytches are late but w/e and we ate at this taco joint just vibing and my friend A is fukked up and overriding the convo being obnoxious but himself. He's sitting next to the chick I've been talking to because of limited seating area, she's across from me.
But f that! The lead up is boring and too much to write.
So we end up at this spot just vibing and I'm not the smothering type. They had a Jenga set up and I went over and played. I'm peeping that friend A is staying in the chick I'm talking to face the entire evening and not trying to put down on the other chicks. It didn't bother me at first. Friend B was near me and in and out like going to the bar and the car. So, the rest of the party made their way over to the table where I played Jenga. It's a picnic table.
Man this shyt is too long. Ugh! Y'all going to roast me. I wanna get to the quarrel.
So i peep the interaction b/w friend A and the chick I am talking to and it appeared like friend A was infatuated. The look like he wanted her for himself and it rubbed me the wrong way. I got her to bring two chicks for these cats to fukk with and he is only entertaining the one for me. That kind of ended our night earlier than anticipated since her cousin and bff weren't getting any play from my friends. the chick I was talking to just seemed like she was being polite since I was doing me (as in dancing and playing Jenga) and not giving her all my attention. That's my fault. So, friend A randomly pulls me to the side talking about lets go because she was "allegedly" sweating him. From what I saw, it wasn't that and I was upset because he was hounding her. So, after this revelation instead of just waving it off. It fukked with me. So, I pulled her to the side and asked how she was and if everything was okay and enjoying herself. She was like yeah and very even. Then she drops the Intel that they're about to go because their parking was about to be up. I know it was mainly because my friends weren't fukking with the other chicks. I was upset that I didn't walk her back to her car. We're still cool and tried to catch up to them.
She makes it home and text me what was the issue and I why didn't I lie!?!? I gave a rundown on what my issue was and politely replied that she was going to bed, that's between y'all and goodnight.
I knew friend A for over 15 years. He's an accomplished dude and I'm proud of him but he's never been the type to get at women. Every relationship that I've known him to be in was because of me. A friend of girl I was talking to or passing off a chick I wasn't interested in. Even his kids' mother was indirectly me. Don't ask me if I fukked her, make your own conclusions. So, I really like this girl and it may have been compromised because of that whole ordeal.
I just want opinions on how would you would feel or react to the situation. How would this affect your friendship, etc. There are holes so if you notice any i will gladly fill them in.
Summary: I feel Friend A on the sly was getting at the chick I am talking to and misinterpreted her being polite to being interested in him.

Now, she's looking at me funny like the jealous type. I really like her but I felt friend A who I knew over 15 years threw salt in the game.
