Nah, Kawhi got to come home to LA/SD, got max dollars, got to load manage how he wanted, the team was his, etc. That was more than enough to sign on the dotted line. He got greedy and sabotaged the team by asking for a co-star... and a co-star he didn't even want. Durant and Jimmy Butler were his first two choices. L. Frank and Ballmer acted like groupies and dikkriders throughout the whole entire process. Needed a "wartime consigliere" like a Pat Riley type to play hardball and talk sense into Kawhi.

At worst if things don't look right you make a trade after the season starts, three months later at the trade deadline for one-third the cost. You don't make that trade right then and there. Everything was a simple fix if by some odd reason Kawhi wasn't feeling SGA. We had all of our picks and open cap space, there was nothing we couldn't do at the time to make things right. Stalking him in Toronto let the whole league know how desperate the team was for Kawhi. So when the trade request came Presti knew to bend the team over and take them out back, yes homo! We got f*cked to all eternity!!

I'm not going to say some trendy bullsh*t just so I can sleep at night. Everybody doesn't make a trade like that, especially when the rook is looking like the next best thing since sliced bread. But we have a f*ckboy IG whore chasing front office who's drooling over dubai b*tches but has the dime already at home, you just got to upgrade her and get her in the gym. WE STILL OWE THESE NICCAS PICKS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, so y'all can't downplay this sh*t anymore. Its so bad Ballmer and Frank put these guys on the path to a dynasty. This is f*cking awful. The endgame of the trade has finally arrived. Muliple all star, season MVP, Finals MVP, and World Champion :wow:

WE F*CKED UP ROYALLY!! Trade Kawhi and Lawrence Frank should resign immediately!! And we still owe these niccas picks on top of it all. The front office is smoking crack rocks dipped in Fentenyl. What an abomination and a travesty! I'm througly disgusted and beside myself:unimpressed:
Didn't read a word of this. Hope you feel better soon.

Read it. We still owe these f*ckers more picks bro. It's not even over. But I digress
Not reading it. Think people would be crying the same way if Kawhi went on to win a title with the Lakers or whatever. The team took a shot and missed. Wouldn't have been the worst thing but then they changed the CBA. Have to keep the books clean and not dig a bigger hole until team is control of picks again. :manny:

i could never lose sleep over OKC’s success because for every diamond in the rough there’s a 50 guys franchises claim are “untouchable” only to realize they were overestimated and missed the boat on something major.

(JJ Hixson, Taylor Horton Tucker etc)

SGA became an amazing player…

But what the fukk does that have to do with Doc refusing to make adjustments & the team giving up leads in 3 straight games vs a young Nuggets squad?

For everything The Clippers gave up they also took advantage of other teams poor front office moves

They got the best out of the rotation guys and had everything they needed to in order to win

They just didn’t

Doc was awful in the Bubble, but on the flipside, maybe a pairing of SGA & Kawhi gets him and the team over the hump instead of Kawhi & PG which was never a good fit in the first place as they both had the same skill set and played the same position. That's why Lue attempted to try PG at point guard but it flopped badly.

I'll say this last one thing and I'm done on the SGA subject, and this isn't even aimed at you Plisken, I'm just yapping which I've been doing a lot of as of late. If you punt on a generational talent who's a leader, hungry, and was going to lift the franchise up and replace him with two mercenaries -talented mercenaries-who are more into their own thing on and off the court, it has to work in the end. It just has to. Playing in the same town with another team that has 17 championships, our margin for error is extremally small. That's mostly my frustration. The perfect ultimate star fell in your lap and punted for two guys that pretty much could care less about the franchise. Yes the two 3-1 chokes included. All the years the Lakers were down during Lob City and we never capitalize. We just never ever capitalize on anything.

But its all good. I'm good. I'll laugh this off in a couple of days. The draft is Wednesday. Summer League after that. Let's roll.
