:heh: I meant that as being the highest most nikkas would have to go...my manager was a weight lifter 6'1'' and 210lbs. He never worked out legs and wanted to gain 10lbs. working upper body. He told me he did 2-2.5g per lbs. I'm more about calories.

Also....I've heard that an insulin spike is more beneficial immediately post workout than protein. Insulin is very anabolic. But dont go injecting no straight insulin cause that shyt will kill you.

my old wrestling coach used to say we only needed a chicken breasts worth of protein everyday :ehh:

he was technically right(if you were taking bare minimum for your brain/organs)

i think the 1g per lb LBM is about right for most people

I was thinking the same as you and was thinking about taking these post workout. Looked into it a little and it seems like it wouldnt hurt.

I know diabetics take them for a instance blood sugar boost.

Yeah that would be fine. It's just somethin to trigger insulin response not actual insulin
