wrong. post what i replied TO. vs taking what i said out of context. STOP IT. i said ignorance of something can incite HATE for something.
this is a proven fact. things WE(people) dont understand a lot of time we hate it.
the race thing was too harsh for you. fine.
Math is the boogie man for most people. WHy? because they dont UNDERSTAND it. Therefore they say "I HATE MATH."
Some of you dont understand Lupe on this album so you think "I hate this album". Not all of you that dont like it. but some really dont get it. so you dont like it. you cant like something you dont get i guess because you dont know what to like about it. me personally, even if i dont get every nuance i can get a smidget in the first listen or two. then i start to find deeper meaning as a i peel back the layers. that is something i appreciate. again maybe thats not you. maybe you like all of your stuff upfront and center in your face.
ay, I liked Transformers the movie. just blow up some stuff. transform and all that. keep it simple. hot chick, robots, and explosions. whats not to like?
but i also liked The matrix. still stuff blowing up, still all sorts of crazy effects. but there was a much deeper meaning in that movie then the transformers. I personally appreciate them doing it like that.
You insinuated that people that don't like the album are ignorant. I did not place anything out of context. If one of the reasons they don't like it because it's "puzzle rap" then so what? That's not ignorance, it's just not the brand of rap they like. Going as far as relating that to whites hating blacks is overblown stan bullsh!t.
as hell.
"this guy gets it".
