“When you gon stop messing around get these city benefits young blood?”
But if the bus is secure and the routes are safe, I don't see why not.As a insurance adjuster his job must be a cake walk.My boy failed the driver's test twice and passed on the 3rd final try. Drove for a few and became a supervisor. Now his supervisor job is to take photos of bus accidents for insurance reports.![]()
Yea OP do it, I just got put on….great pay, great benefits.
Yea overtime is the secret sauce….a lot of these OGs purposely avoid promotions so they can do overtime and bringing in 150k a yearThe bus drivers here in MA get paid extremely well. They especially make a killing in overtime. You have to pay dues for a couple yrs but in the long run it’s worth it.
Don't forget their version of 401k along with your pension, social security along with that when you retire. You will be getting paid from 2 sources and a nest egg somewhere in neiguborhood of 500k-1million if you started already.Yea OP do it, I just got put on….great pay, great benefits.
Transportation Union is usually some of the best you gonna get in the country
Here in Chicago I’m gonna be making 45 an hour in 2 years and my health benefits are covering 90% of all major medical expenses…then pension and social security and I’m prolly set for life as long as I don’t get fired
Maybe in a different area, around here bus stops are just snacks for the wolves
Seriously though, do it
There's a shortage, wages are going up, the OGs are telling you, what are you waiting for? When's that new contract year taking effect?

You at FDXGround? If so, this should be an easy decision.
