I'm sorry but...listening to rock really trivializes the talent of a rap producer

If you're posting Blink-182 to prove that rock takes more talent than hip-hop production...you don't really understand rock nor what it takes to do either.

Breh...it was for the drums. Travis Barker isnt a good drummer now? :mjpls:

Do ya'll read threads or just skim through it

I wanna learn but I have to humble myself and come to grips with the fact that I cant. Guitar will do.

Why can't you learn? Get some lessons and if you have rhythm you'll be on your way.

That said might as well just pick up the bass if you're thinking of going the easy route. But then again with most instruments, all are easy to play, all difficult to play well.

As for my favorite drum songs Us v. Them, Pat Mahoney da gawd :

There's a lot to be said for drummers who can keep that metronomic rhythm for a long time without breaking concentration.

Helders has some piff though too

Arctic Monkeys - The View From The Afternoon (2006) - YouTube

I wanna start with a Fender Strat and learn how to play that. And then one day learn the drums when I have more time to devote. How expensive are drum sets anyway?

That Arctic Money is piff

Rap is and always will be #1 ...but sometimes it takes a hyperbole to get nikkas to listen breh . Don't sleep. STFU and press play. :birdman:
Let Me Drown-Soundgarden - YouTube

You misunderstand...this wasn't so much a defense for rap, but more or less talking about your appproach...a better way would've just been to try to put nikkaz onto new shyt, without the hyperbole. You would've gotten less hate than you do now lol :pachaha:

I'm more of a bass fan.

Bass players get no p*ssy :to:

Sorry OP, but Bass players need some recognition

no bass=no music

I posted that Smashing Pumpkins for the bass :salute:. She's my fave bass player ...check out Cherub Rock, Rhinoceros, Hummer and In the arms of sleep

The drums and bass. One of favourite bass riffs ever.
