I'm Sorry - Randy Moss is the best I have ever seen, and it's not close.

In the words of Herm Edwards, "listen to your eyes". My eyes tell me Randy Moss is indeed the best wide receiver ever.

Then you need your eyes checked.

Moss only does one thing better than Rice. Rice checked every box as a receiver. Great deep ball receiver, great hands, the quintessential route runner, great blocker, and one of the tough SOBs to ever play the game.

Jerry Rice and it aint even close.

I don't care if we're talkin short yardage, a deep pass, clutch catches, reverses or whatever...

Rice is the greatest FB player in history hands down.

The only ay I could see anyone being disillusioned by Moss is if they started watching FB in 1998 or some shyt.

Even after 17 years in the league....Rice caught 92 passes in one season for the Raiders

Give me prime Moss over any wideout :yeshrug:. Calvin is close tho. Rice is befoe my time. Rice got the numbers and the rings but I can't get over the height and 4.2 speed. There's a reason people say Moss'd

Understandable.

But Rice did everything better than Moss

Moss on paper looks unstoppable, but Rice executed better in every way imaginable.

Moss is a step above TO imo, but well below Rice...either way...

If you didn't see Rice play, if I could recommend one season as evidence, I'd say check put the 49ers 1995 Season.

Shyt...even you can't do that...check out the 1995 49ers Vs Cowboys NFC Championship....the best game in NFL history IMO.

Rice's first touchdown catch on that drive had me trashin my living room like I was listenin to Metallica or some shyt.

He's right tho.....

Many people in the NFL, have straight up said that Randy>>>>>>any WR ever.

the only real difference between Randy and Jerry, is that Jerry was continually motivated....Randy knew he was that nikka, and played when he felt like it.

motivated Randy>>>anybody

Ray Buchanan, who covered both of them said it best. When he had to watch Randy, he only really had to prep for one route. But with Jerry, he had to watch every play, because Rice ran every route with same precision and efficiency.

And reliability is a big factor. Why would you pick a guy you can't count on?

That's cause if Randy put his hand up... you were beat, even if you weren't beat yet.

but yeah, Ray Buchanan....Ray " i made one pro bowl ever" Buchanan is the authority on Randy vs. Jerry.

Rice>>>>>

He was on another level. A complete dominant receiver in everything a WR does.

His All Time stats are FAR beyond everyone else

Someone mentioned Moss breaking Jerry's record

Jerry Rice had 22 TDS in 12 games compared to the record breaking Moss who had 23 in 16 games :wow:
