People have turned their back against me for no reason. My attempts at a redemption story are failing. Nothing I ever do seems to go right. I’m black, I get weird interactions for no reason. I am a threat to everyone because of competition and intimidation. I was only ever tolerated out of fear not genuine love. All my life I’ve been an underdog and everyone expects me to be a robot for their ego and approval but no one shows me love back. I’m tired of living a purposeless life where everything I try to do magically goes to shyt.

I try to overcome but everyone/everything just pisses me off. We are all expected to be a superhero or something. I have had a lot of bad luck and pain in my life. I’m sure a lot of black men have tried to overcome their bad circumstances but the circle of life gets darker and darker to crawl out from. The racist day to day microgressions continue to pile up on top of my life struggles and reaffirm my place in the world socially. My own people have turned against me too more than I can count and I don’t know why. I lament everyday from betrayal. I get older and see why my elders act the way they do. Before I can even be at peace with myself and process my own life mistakes I have to deal with all this other stuff.
