If this shyt doesn't sound intriguing thoughMake the MC a black man in his mid 20s and the woman mc a Latina in her 20s, set in New York with a quarantine vibe in a huge apartment complex that unbeknownst to the inhabitants it has a secret lair where the landlord works on his experiments for umbrella. Being a landlord is just a front

@Easy-E
If I were in charge of this game the characters personality would reflect the environment just for the sake of variety since there's no black MC in RE or games in the hood
Now that doesn't mean he'll be stereotypically black though
It would be the San Andreas of Resident Evil.
Im posting from the typical CAC perspective, if it's gay shyt or focused on women it's a problem to them
I'd rather it not be so PC with the LGBT though. It's not hard to make this game because you'd rarely leave the building. Tidbits about gentrification scrawled on notes in game could be a thing for atmospheric vibes but other than that it's not necessary.
If you came up with a composite of every black person in America, he or she would end up "stereotypical."
My point stands; there's nothing wrong with that. Of course you wouldn't want these character to be a caricature. But, I hate the new age of blank slate protagonist.
Take Lee from The Walking Dead for example. Great game, great story. But, he was a college professor from Georgia, who murdered his wife and his family owned a drug store.
I'd bet any type of money he was originally a white man. Granted, the world stands in a place where the past matters very little.
The only thing is Lee tries to hide he was arrested for murder before this all happened and that his family owned the drug store they were holed up in.
He didn't have a uniquely black story.
I tire of people demanding black characters...as long as they don't act like black people and they point to "stereotypes" as if that means anything but a reference to The White Gaze.
You could tell an amazing story based off a materialistic, sexist, violent, ignorant black male drug dealer now having to adjust to a post zombie apocalypse world.
But, storytelling is at a place where people wouldn't even give him a chance to grow.
I'd make that negro ghetto as fukk. Those people are still human, with stories to tell. But, the mainstream wants to act like they don't exist.
It it was anything like “attack the block” I think it could be a successMake the MC a black man in his mid 20s and the woman mc a Latina in her 20s, set in New York with a quarantine vibe in a huge apartment complex that unbeknownst to the inhabitants it has a secret lair where the landlord works on his experiments for umbrella. Japs are so culturally ignorant the internet would have to step in with a collective![]()

On top of that this is caccom we're talking about. The same fakkits that hired a cac to voice act a black characterI thought they would turn a corner with the FF7 remake but the instant Barry spoke in the trailer I was done lmao.![]()

Imagine hittin the alley and you see a bunch of zombies shootin craps

This isn't entirely off baseThe Kotaku's of the worlds would ruin it because liberal white people think it's their jobs to police black people like special needs kids.
See Cyberpunk

Opppp, that's racist
That's problematic
What about the black women?
What about the trans, short, laser printer identifying, non binaries?
Why does he talk like that?
Should we celebrating a game with black people being voilent?
I hope ya'll see why "black content" isn't made unless it's basically stories of chocolate covered white people (aka black experiences from a lense that white ppl would understand is because of this woke bullshyt.

Agreed, so what would be your script for the game?
maybe have the cops kill it and then there be reports of a hospital being overran.
