Am I the only one that constantly notices the shade Mike throws at Jermaine at the beginning? I would think nothing of it then but knowing their history with each other I caught that shyt. "I miss those magical moments with all my brothers." Jermaine was like... :obama:..."including Jermaine":gucci:
That wasn’t shade. He was just acknowledging Jermaine because the brothers continued performing together as a group when they left Motown for Epic. Jermaine was no longer part of the group because he stayed at Motown and did his solo thing. They didn’t perform all together (all 6 brothers) until the Victory tour, which was after this aired.

If it was on CBS it was on all the others networks too. Mike had it like that. I remember when BAD dropped it was late summer 87 and we were outside but when it came time for the premiere everyone and I mean everyone went inside to watch. I lived in a mostly white neighborhood at the time. But trust me they were all just as crazy for MJ as blk ppl were

Was glued to the tv when it first came on as a youngin, nothing, and I mean nothing was slicker then MJ moonwalked. Stage might as well have been a sheet of ice they way he glided backwards.

I've watched that vid at least 5 times since I posted it. Catch something new every time I hit the replay.

Man, I miss MJ :wow::mjcry:

Hell yea, one of the coldest to do it. He had every young cat in the country tryna replicate that moonwalk and spin. You could hear parents from all over yelling to stop messing up socks dragging them across the floor after that. Let's not get started on my personal favorite the Smooth Criminal video, mans had the gangsta lean all the way forward then had the nerve to moonwalk in a circle :whew:.

Mike was the coldest to do it. I remember the video of this guy popping up on stage and before he even does shyt, dozens of people are fainting already. Concert is fukking packed and shyt and paramedics are running around with stretchers everywhere :dahell: i remember when his videos would drop in the 90s whole families would be watching at home losing their shyt :whoo:

who else could would go to a favela to shoot a video about injustice. I read once about how they went to ask if he could go in and shoot it and the gangsters were like “man it’s Michael Jackson, of course he’s welcome here :dahell:

You out your DAMN mind comparing Lil Wayne to Michael Jackson.

Dapped undapped negged reported ignored
I'm out of my mind comparing two artist that been performing at a above average pace for 10+ years then continued for another 10 forgettable years? How is that crazy? It's not like everybody has a successful 20 year career.

What is crazy is somebody saying Beyonce is trash and she needs better composers and writers. How that make her trash. Everything you named is somebody else job. By your comments the singing is the only part that's solid and that's her only job. That's insane if you ask me :yeshrug:

Why you gotta dap then undap me breh. That's so disrespectful :heh:

I said it before. There's never been a kid phenom who was that famous/talented who then evolved into the most famous/successful entertainer on Earth. It's a crazy arc.
closest thing I can think of is actually is LeBron obviously it's in athletics tho

no LeGBT

and that's closest... LeBron is not a unanimous GOAT like Michael

but the child phenom with all eyes on him living up to excellence is pretty damn close.. i really can't think of another entertainer or even athlete
