There ya goofballs go again with the "hate" word. nikkas is haters because we see thru this unoriginal ass gimmick rapper being pushed upon us by a note worthy industry connected jewish a&r? :ld:

Its not even the whole him getting his sound from the 90s or going back to a "East Coast" sound. Its jus that straight up this nikka is a characture of old skool music and his music does not build upon the old sound or is even better than what he is trying to recreate. His music is indeed shallow and hollow. Go ahead and drop one Joey Badass line that makes you go :ohlawd:

Not only that, but there are a plethora of original up and coming NY artists who do what this cornball is trying to do 100%x better. The shyt Ive heard from acts like The Underachievers, that wavy nikka Armvnii :wow: , Action Bronson, Coke Boyz shyt even FlatBush Zombies are better than Joey badass and his impression of being Mr.Cheeks.

Even The Coli's very own Noah Caine is a better representation of New York going back to the 90s hip hop sound and building up on it :aicmon:

I dont really see it as trying to "bring the 90's back", but actually tryin to restore an authentic New York/ East Coast sound which has been dead the past decade...
French Montana sound like a south nikka
Rocky has the whole Houston influence
Jim Jones is basically a south like artist

only real East Coast "sound" has been a 40+ year old CEO the past 10 years

That nikka go hard as fukk. Somebody need to get THAT nikka a deal :ohlawd:

Between him, Armvnii, ASAP Ferg, Bodega Bamz (For the latinos out there :yeshrug: ), The Underachievers, and a couple of other NYC acts I see star potential in. I really hope they all blow in 2013, so we can get this Joey WannabeAss the fukk outta here lol and finally give New York a offical look.

Gotta post this guys video again jus cuz :wow:

Look Jack :aicmon:

New York hip hop is what I grew up on, its my love, its all I know.

What I DO know now, is that NY is looking weak as fukk these days, and my people are passing off these half ass rappers, which is not gonna bring MY region back :usure:

So excuse me, if my standards for my region aint as lenient as yours. This is a New York thing b. I want my city back on top. And the way things are going, its not lookin like we gon be back unless the streets speak out on phonies and funny biz like this :comeon:

Is he a hipster? IDK if that is the appropriate word. You have alot of different styles and backgrounds in NYC, you also have to take into consideration NYC has a LARGE blue collar middle class Black community so what is cool to some Black kids from the nice parts of BK who fukk with shops in the soho/les may not be cool to Black kids from Mott Haven. So it shouldn't be surprising when they dress differently and even sound different. Brooklyn where the Black community is very diverse represents the epitome of what I'm talking about.
