Importance of sleep

between 7-8 hours but I have no problem running on half that(4 hours) anything less and I'm dozing off the second I get a chance.

I usually sleep an average of 5.5/6 hours a night. 1/1:30 am is mostly my time to go to bed, midnight if I feel tired, then I gotta wake up at 6 or 7 depending on how early i'm working in the morning.
I gotta admit 6.5/7 hours of sleep is the ideal night for me, it gives me some time to fall asleep and gives me a solid 6 hours of quality sleep. Anything under 5 hours the wake up is rough, and everything over 8 hours the wake up is rough too it feels like too much. Guess i'm in the average after all

Edit: When I was 16 I had a contract to work somewhere 2 hours away from town and I had to wake up at 4 am in order to be there by 7. Waking up still high off MDMA with 2 hours of sleep in the system... As you get older this shyt is now impossible to do, I need my sleep

Honestly depends on a multitude of habits.

Sleeping is when the brain and body detoxs etc. I can live with 5 hours and be productive if I don't eat huge meals late at night and remain sober throughout the day before etc

Between 5-7...


Most of the time it's towards the 5 and less toward the 7. I have to tell myself to get to bed most nights which leads to the closer to 5. There are nights when I just let it go and try and get that 7-8 tho...


I'm not a big "sleeper" 5-6 hrs and I'm terrific, any less and it's tough...any more, well I can't sleep more than 8 hrs straight unless I'm on something...always been a quick sleeper. Older I get tho, the more I realize, I do need that sleep tho
