Krs one was just mad that after decades of rapping, he never blew. U know damn well he wanted to be apart of that luxurious life style instead of doing shows in coffee shops. Nelly wack to me before yall think im dissing krs one. Im an old head and what he did with nelly was desperate attention seeking. The fact he lost makes it more hilarious.
market was always going to shift to the midwest/south, that's the real America. Hell even when L.A started to blow past NY for a period it was because Cali was more relateable to the rest of the country. As a kid I watched Boyz in da hood & Menace like 'wtf these nikkas think old ass american cars are fly? they live in suburbs with big ass houses front yard back yard how is this the hood?' little did I know that's what the hood looks like everywhere except a handfull of north east cities.

are you even getting these numbers from and secondly your argument was that KRS was mad he never blew when he DID. He was one of the biggest hip hop artists for years and he STILL tours to this day. He also does the throw back shows that I'm pretty sure get better attendance than a Nelly show in 2018 Cats like you are the reason the genre all fukked up now. No joke, i randomly went to this lounge in long beach 6 years ago at 4pm and when i popped in, krs one was on stage performing. I was like
this some special hip hop event? Nope. He just randomly did a handful of songs, took pics with white hippies/back packers and then bounced.
