Let's talk about the power of ''hit em up''...

Hit em up should not only lose points for being overrated as a diss song but because it had a huge negative impact on the battle element in hiphop, after Hit Em Up the standard for battle records basically became empty death threats after empty death threats...Thankfully real MC's HOVA & NASIR tried revive that element, but then another basic rapping, attention whoring, gimmick beef creating young man from the school of 2pacs known as Curtis Jackson blew up a year later and re-set the negative precedents & now the battle element is finished within the hiphop culture. This is not a reach or a attempt. The death of the competition between MC's can be attributed to Tupac Shakur. Whatever you think of Pac you know this to be true.

nikka talkin bout "lyrically" fuk a lyrically nikka,this wuz a damn roast session and nikkas who wuz supposed to get roasted felt it....Biggie tried to choke his wife and was calling nikkas to collaborate on a diss song to go back at Pac cuz he didn't feel like he could win alone.....Prodigy said he wanted to kill Pac after the song....Lil Kim has destroyed her face to avoid havin her ugly azz snatched out the streets,soon as that bytch got sum money she fixed her face...had crips askin puff "u want us to handle this shyt right?",and even bein the smart business man he wuz he wuz down with the dumb shyt that coulda lost him everything had it came to light back then.....Then my nikka wuz dissin nikkas in spoken word poetry at the endI still laugh at the intended targets everytime I hear this shyt....its a song not a damn song
