the real hiphop.
Pac might be the best rapper in history to transcend what he felt; regardless if it was how much he loved his moms or how he loved weed and hennessy, how he felt about the white establishment or how he felt about his enemies. You felt his anger and his frustration, his arrogance and his hate towards his foes. This song personifies why Pac is still regarded as one of the realest dudes ever, it personifies that image 95% of all thug rappers try to embody.

Y'all wanna say it was empty threats and such? Biggie's dead brehs... RIP to him though.

50 tried to recreate this track with "Piggybank", we discussed that song for about a week in February 2005 then never again, so don't come here and act like songs like this are easy to make. This song ("Hit Em Up") left its marks in the rap game.

Yup,u and T.I hit it right on the head...whatever emotion Pac wanted u to feel with the song he wuz makin he succeeded....sounds like it would be simple but plenty of artist fall short...whether it be there lyrics fall short and make u feel nuthing,or the emotion whether it be anger, sadness or celebration just doesn't come across in there delivery and it doesn't fit the lyrics....Pac is really the only other artist who wuz able to do this with almost 100% accuracy off top of my head.

dawg look up the irrelevant definition because it fits you.

So you take pride in your relevency being voted the worst poster on the site.
If you think that is a positive, as far as being relevant,...
More power to your resident in a nursing home based brainwaves, is all I say.
give us the relevant review of your unseasoned nursing home cuisine, while you further how relevant you are.

Tupac (TO ME) isn't special in any way so I agree with this thread, it wasn't special in any way.

Mobb Deep and Chino XL should thank God everyday that Pac made "Hit'Em Up", because he gave them the best publicity possible...

but with hit em up and all his other music I just realised he made music for teenagers, and biggie made music for teenagers and beyond...biggie had more to offer...

this might be the most backwards-ass post ive ever seen on here.

and that's saying ALOT.

as a biggie fan im biased...and I know this....

I respect pac as an artist....I really do...

but with hit em up and all his other music I just realised he made music for teenagers, and biggie made music for teenagers and beyond...biggie had more to offer...

thats why 15 years later his music is played as much as pacs music.....and thats kinda crazy with only 2 albums

I think we had enough biggie vs pac discussions...and i guess to each his own

This thread is full of hilarity.

Nail In The Coffin was a great dis record... :russ: That wasn't even the best Eminem dis to Benzino.

Fatal's verse was better than Pac's :rudy:

Pac's music was for teens and BIG's was more "mature" :russ:

Pac's threats weren't empty cause BIG died :rudy: Like 'Pac did it himself...

I dunno, these Pac/BIG threads always bring out the most ridiculous statements...
