Thing is these are skills that are passed down for the most part. I was lucky my dad was a country dude cuz he taught me some shyt and one of my homeboy's dads taught me a lot. In my situation, the sad thing is all my family builds house, like both my uncles could literally build a house if you gave them enough time and supplies. I missed out on learning most of it outside of roofing.
true dat, true dat, its hard to obtain those home building skills in a city. younger generations lost a lot due to all kinds of social issues. there's a recent thread about a retired NFL player learning to farm from youtube videos. I'm on Nigerian sites and see the Brehs posting pics of them building their own chit all the time.
