thats something i want to do. i always look for fixer upper houses just to get an idea for when im ready to make that move. my aunt's husband bought a house in portchester, ny that looked straight out of a horror movie. 2 years later he had it looking incredible and its worth 3 times what he paid for it. its a very smart move if you are a handy man.

I'm getting a fixer upper when I move. I can't wait to put some sweat equity into my place.

Thing is these are skills that are passed down for the most part. I was lucky my dad was a country dude cuz he taught me some shyt and one of my homeboy's dads taught me a lot. But I grew up in Bmore so it wasn't like nikkas was going around just building houses all day

You can learn how to do a lot of stuff on youtube. It taught me how to install floors, tile, put up drywall, work on cars etc.
