Interesting. You are sounding like what old people said about millennials. Don't drink the kool aid cause you have gotten older.
I always say I didn't want to be that guy and I'm not. Boomers thought millennials were going to fukk everything up. I don't think that at all with Gen Z they are smart as fukk and will make leaps for society but they are fukked up emotionally.

Every time a thread like this is made its always "why don't x want to work" in a 2023 economy. If people as a whole had good paying jobs, healthcare, benefits people will be glad to come in and work. I wouldn't be eager to work when you can't even afford a roof over your head because of your pay ain't keeping up with inflation.

Not all jobs are equal, if someone wants a decent paying position, they need to pay their dues to get into that field.

20-30 an hour for a HS grad or college dropout in a minimum wage position isn't going to happen...

I mean, this is basic economics 101....

They Say gen z lacks basic tech skills using an actual computer :russ: .

They are the instant gratification generation - Gen Z has figured out how to monetize everything they do and make careers out of being talentless

But they don't really go in for too much bullshyt either. These articles and the world is full of too much oldhead babble. They can't stand being challenged or corrected, especially when they're wrong
no they didn't

some of them did

the majority of them are just living off their parents money or they do have jobs and have to work because their parents aren't wealthy like that.

We literally hired 100 people last year a good portion with literally zero experience. Just knowledgeable with excel, math, and enthusiastic about sports/sports betting and willing to learn what goes into the trade.

One thing I'll add is that we need to stop collectively putting the sins of millennials on Gen Z.

As much as we say Gen Z are entitled, want everything for nothing etc. etc. it fails to remove the articles bytching about how zoomers won't spend money and how they're checking out of relationships.

This living beyond one's means is something we millennials must take ownership of. We're the ones who place value on materialistic things like expensive holidays, expensive clothes, expensive dates. It is that way because we kinds of follow the expectations from a generation that grew up in a time where their money went further.
Y'all laughing at boomers not retiring y'all nikkas gonna be working till you 80
trying to keep up with the Joneses and impressing nikkas all the time .

communism may be around the corner if generation z doesn’t get on board about how an economy works.

Most young people are fycked up emotionally. It's part being young. In America I see the same trend. Older generations being self-serving and leaving little for the younger generation. Then the older generation having the audacity to complain about the youth. :francis:

The way this economy is working is part of the problem. I think it's a good thing generation z is going against the norm. Why should they be like older generations and pay student loans into their 40s or lose a job they work hard at because someone wants to save some money that will only be distributed at the top?

I’m referring to folks taking up critical roles to make a society function. Being an influencer isn’t viable for everyone.
