Insecurities are just a way to discourage you from trying. If you think something isn't in your grasp , idealistically it normal to find reasons not to attempt it to save yourself from falling flat on your face.. Individuals are conditioned physicology and emotionally (heart/mind if you will) wise to feel failure as a sense of displeasure, discontent or inadequacy. I think if we are going thru something of that nature, we need to retrain our mind that failure is life's way of helping you figure something out.
Your doubts boil down to fear of failure and are a justification of why you think you cant excel at something. So to prevent that lost you/we don't try because it won't happen anyway.
So last part to it is this retrain your brain to except failure as an opportunity to become better.

good to know im not the only one
No offense to you men in here, but there's no one out there that is that special. I'm more concerned with whether I like the person or not as opposed to vice versa.
