Wemby's statline (and his health) actually is all that matters, for the time being. If the minutes restriction (28.7 mpg) is health-related, then that's simply an unfortunate but added variable to consider that past rookies weren't shackled with (rookie DRob = 36.6 mpg / rookie Lebron = 39.5 mpg).
But if it ensures Wemby gets through this first season without injury, and can then recover + hit a weight room program proper this summer... no one will care that he won rookie of the year with a shyt team record. Winning MVPs and championships are the only barbershop/hot take convos that will matter for him long term.
