Interesting comparison video of GTA IV and V

I think it's mainly because it was pretty much a port of the 360/PS3 . If it was truly built from the ground up for the newer systems maybe it would have been able to fit all of the stuff missing from IV?

I can't name a SINGLE aspect of GTA IV that's better than V.

V is better in literally every way.

And if by chance something in IV is better, V makes up for it with the freedom you have to fly planes, boats, the ocean, better vehicles, etc.

5 is def better than 4 but I see what OP is talking about. There were a lot of little details in 4, like people reacting to being shot in specific body parts, hats being shot off and shyt like that. Otherwise, nothing really stands out about 4.

GTA IV's driving was 50x better.
I could drive at full speed and do a 180 spin, drive backwards between two cars stopped at a red light, and 180 back to full front.

In GTA V i'd do a 180 and fail miserably.

kinda amazing how much rockstar stripped out of V to make a bigger game. I forgot how good the AI was in IV, I kinda panned that game when I played it because Saints Row 2 was so much better and I felt IV was a step back from San Andreas. But damn, you could do some shyt in it. Barely even touched V when I got it, the game felt so shallow, cool to see the big reasons why it felt like that.

I wanna go back to it with some mods now...

I actually think GTA IV was the better game in general. GTA V was all flash and no substance.

That game in no way shape of form is better than GTA V...
