I've been doing both and happy with the results.

I do a mostly Keto diet (I'm not perfect :sadcam:) but during the week I don't eat after 8 PM and then don't eat before noon. Easy 16 hour fast daily :blessed:

I’m doing this exactly. Went from 225 to 212 in 10 days. Then fukked up and had a slice of cake this past Saturday at a housewarming smh


I’m at 214 right now. Meal prepping makes this shyt a breeze

In fact now that i am working out im not even fatigued for lack of food. If u got the willpower go for it. Mind you im 6'0 and was at 220 a month ago. Im at 195 now and still dropping :picard:

But i do the brutal challenges. 3 days straight no eating. Longest i ever managed was 8 days

How do you do it breh? I am going to try it tomorrow.

Nah its actually a part of my routine now im also on some spiritual jay electronica type shyt so that helps but if u wanna try it out download this app called bodyfast they have free schedules that you could use and honestly its pretty decent. I eat whatever i want when it's time to eat, but i steer away from fast food as much as possible and just go for steak and chicken, some fish and seafood. when im fastin i drink water tea or coffee. Haven't died yet so :ohhh:

I’ve been doing the intermittent fasting since the beginning of summer. I also went vegan over the summer. I mainly did it because I wanted to cut as I had been bulking for months and wanted definition. I’ve gotten so used to fasting now I eat one meal a day and usually got 24 hours between meals. It’s not that I’m starving myself at all I’m generally not hungry most of the day. If I do by chance get hungry between meals I normally do a light snack like peanuts or mixed fruits. I drink a plenty of water and have been getting compliments daily for a lil while now.

For anybody that really wants to try it out get BodyFast off the app store. It comes with a bunch of free plans but for 70 bucks u get the full thing which introduces stuff like primeval diet (eating schedule like ancient humans had)

If your used to eating your three meals a day it will be tough, only reason im doing ok is cuz i skipped breakfast my whole life and i guess it doesnt affect me that much. But honestly its a battle of willpower. Try to put yourself in the mindset that your body is actively trying to fukk you over. I havent eaten since 12am yesterday and im due to eat at 12am now. I have a plate of chicken, cassava chips, mashed potatos right in front of me. Am i gonna cheat and eat it an hour early? No cuz im a fukking boss and my body doesnt run shyt, I run shyt. Try thinking like that. But the app really helps cuz it lets u know how much time u got left and keeps u on schedule. U could also take a cheat day and it wont kill u.

Im avoiding fast foods cuz i want to lose weight even faster and i hate calorie counting. But if u don't mind calorie counting then by all means you could eat whatever. The budget for someone of my height is 1,845 calories a day. I try to stay well under that budget in the periods I can eat, and then do the fasting. Combined with light exercise, and at least a liter of water a day its literally changing the way i look in days. And ive never been a diet head in my life :hubie: im the type that used to order 10 dollars worth of 2 for 5 big macs and smash them shyts :scust:

I never said eat the same amount of calories as u would on some fat boy shyt, I said u could eat what u want as long as your on your budget. The fast helps induce ketosis and it starts burning your sugar depots so youll go use fat for energy. Again this aint completely scientifically proven to work for everybody but it works for me so :blessed:

I love doing challenges like this, too, if for no reason but to just discipline myself. Longest I ever went was 10 days on water only about 7 years ago.

I did a 21-day herb detox back in April where I could only eat raw and kicked if off with a 5-day water fast. Once I broke it, I gradually transitioned into fasting each Sunday and Wednesday and only eating between the hours of 10am and 6pm on "eating" days.

Nah what I meant was if you eat 1800 calories what makes it different if you eat throughout the day or if you fast and eat it later.

good luck with that....doesn’t sound like a healthy lifestyle you’re building. Plus weight loss and no exercise (lifting) :scust:

Man that's a tactic it's not a long-term fix. Keto isn't the worst thing in the world but it's not as great as people make it out to be
yea, I got friends hyping keto cuz they lose a shytton of weight that first month (that good water release) but the ones who keep losing, I ask how many calories they eat and it’s something like 1300...I’m like that’s why you’re losing weight :comeon:, eating << than you burn...at a huge deficit at that.

I’ve been working on a straight anorexic diet recently. The worst part is the headaches. I can get past the hunger, but the headaches and occasional tremors got me like :huhldup:I’ve also increased my nicotine intake (by vaping, no more cigs). This shyt can’t be sustainable :pachaha:

Nah im lifting now i dont wanna be out here looking like machine gun kelly. Im a naturally bulky guy anyways. Well see tho im not saying this is some shyt u should swear by but im pleasantly surprised by the results so far

Man OP must think just like me cuz I was meaning to make this thread.

But yeah, I been fasting the past couple of weeks. Basically just skipping breakfast and eating around 11-7 or 1-9 depending on when I'm ready to eat. I've been able to control my diet and appetite.

Yeah, keto sucks. It's effective as fukk tho. The 2-3 weeks I was on keto I dropped 10-12 pounds. But outside of avacado and cheese, most high fat foods are unhealthy and don't exactly fill you up. It's only so long I could eat tuna and avacado all day til I dropped that shyt. Plus I'm pescatarian and stay away from sugar so I'm already limited in what foods I eat.
