HIS BEATS ARE BARELY LAYERED, AND YOU CAN TELL HE'S NOT REALLY TALENTED MUSICALLY...SO THAT LEAVES U WIT SOME COMPUTER PROGRAM SOUNDIN BEATS, WHICH IN ESSENCE, COULD BANG...ESPECIALLY WIT THE RIGHT RAPPER. You ever heard this album?? He's no Kanye nor is he an Alchemist, Rza, or a Pete Rock because atleast they can make a solo album thats worth listening to.
To me it's kind of the opposite his beats still bang, but damn his stuff from 1998-2002 sound dated AF. With all the casio keyboard stabs and hyped up bass kicks...looking over his catalog in retrospect.....alot of his shyt sounds good today, back then....not so much

He did have that signature era defining sound like TImbo when the game slowly moved away from sample based production.
