Nas took 8 months to drop Ether. On the album. It was regular to use it to push your albums. Also, it took MONEY to release music in the mid 90s.People had enough time to respond. If you think others are better that's your opinion, but Chino's career isn't impressive or noteworthy, De La shoot subs and duck when called out, Mobb Deep never held back they did La La straight away and drop a gem for Pac, Jay just wasn't that guy when Big and Pac were dominating. The narrative that "these guys didn't have time to respond" is just something I disagree with.
Those guys might have not been afraid of Pac, but Pac / Death Row certainly wasn't stressed about any of those guys.
Chino's career was limited by:
1. Unwillingness to sell out.
2. Not getting the chance to tear Pac apart, relegating him to a footnote, and Pac dikkriders swearing "he killed him"

3. His home, Jersey turning on him like fakkits because the Outlawz were from there, and Pac bandwagon dikkeaters. He had to up and move to Cali and start completely over. He was a mega talent.
Drop A Gem On 'Em was changed, and there was at least another song that was way more flagrant that was scrapped after he died. Long Kiss Goodnight was changed also. Do your research.
