I wonder why folks are mixing up "she's poor/broke" with the reality of she just wants to build a nuclear weapon and that costs money :pachaha:

She gets kicked out of MIT and come home to Chicago to a mother that seems to be ok financially, chilling with her friends in a nice apartment with no signs of complaining about paying bills or eviction notices. Apparently they own the step-dad's abandoned gas station with a garage just sitting there which will probably become RiRi's headquarters by the end. RiRi just wants expensive shyt that she can't get at Lowes or Home Depot. She had access to it at MIT but now she don't.

Also I think the gay dude's purple hair and nails are clouding folks memory. He's not the only black dude in this show and I'm not talking about Eric Andre. RiRi has a normal Black "boyfriend" that she's buys the headphones for and is trying to keep her grounded but I guess he's too boring for folks:aicmon:

Serious questions.

Are these characters they are trying to push even popular?

I aint even tyring to hate as an "old head" because I was already out of college when Miles Morales was created, and i know he is popular. But Ironheart, is she popular or are they just trying to push some shyt on people?

James Gunn was 100% right when he said Marvel fell off and will stay in the dumps as long as they are trying to just push shyt out to hit numbers for investors.
Riri was never popular, even though she's doing better now. When she was created, there was this huge uproar in the comic community. It didn't help that she was introduced by being shoehorned into the last 3-4 pages of Invincible Iron Man, having nothing to do with the main story. The basically used those pages to say "this is Riri and what's she's doing" but it lasted a good 5 issues. Since then, hatred for her has waned, but mostly people are indifferent toward her. She does have a few fans though, but she's not Miles, Ms. Marvel, Moon Girl, old X-23...

The Hood has very few fans. They've pushed the hell out of him, trying to make him a villain for every street level/magic hero they could think of. It hasn't worked..and he never caught on.

Added nothing to the scene.

Normal (allegedly) friend - minor char, little screen time and lines, probably only straight (allegedly, he can still be pan or some weird shyt) to be a love interest

Extra Saucy Santana - Major character, major screen time, all up in the camera, super duper extra, tons more screen time than the alleged normal brother

And Eric Andre was a glorified cameo. Half the Black characters are walking agendas, and ZERO non-Black characters are. The shyt look funny style.

are people gonna admit the new season of Daredevil was mid yet? mid is Disney+'s ceiling. this will fall into the same "who gives a fukk?" mid spot all the other ones are living in.

Daredevil was wack. A bunch of repeated dialogue in every episode .

The CGI was wack too.

Not really popular, but that can be combated with good writing, stories, acting etc etc, things Disney struggle with

Facts. We have a sizable gay population here, the majority are regular people who just happen to swing a different way. They almost always go unnecessarily far, and 95% it's at Black mens' expense. It's insulting.

I'm in the fine arts community and only seen dudes like this at gay festivals. Never on a plane, train or mall.

Dude looks like Disney Villain with all that make up on. Like I'm sure if HIM was a real person he would be literally like ol boy in Ironheart. Gay people need to be seen and heard in cinema and tv, but it's crazy how they choose the most outlandish version to push.

Like for instance they will never make a fat superhero, but you got plenty of fat villains. They know what they doing by misrepresenting groups of people.
