DaBaby 30…I’m talking about the youngings from now the teens.

They don’t know shyt or give a fukk about shyt. They don’t care about Jay either. Most of them don’t even know what Dipset is/was.

They may know the names but they don’t really know the music.
This nikka stay dikkriding new shyt :mjlol:

I got to the mall and there is still 2pac apparell everywhere. A lot of the newer artists have mentioned his name in songs like Juice wrld. Im not sure at all what you are getting at. He has been dead 25 years? Still mentioned all the time

I'd actually wager that 2pac's face and name is on more hoody's and shirts than any other artists alive or dead

His estate needs to drop another posthumous album with features from modern rappers. Sort of like Pac Life, had features from popular rappers at that time and the song with Ja Rule and Nas in the early 2000s. Those posthumous songs with Nas/Ja/50/Em made it feel like Pac was still an actual rapper dropping new music even though he was dead.

That could get Pac's name buzzing with these young nikkas :manny:

Doesn't Pac still have decent amount of songs left in the vault? Wonder why his estate hasn't dropped another posthumous album.

99 percent of the time the OG of Pac posthumous songs leak so us flabby heads can bump the OG's while everyone else bumps the retail with modern production/features. Maybe Pac estate can get Hit Boy to produce a new Pac album.

Tupac has a statue in his honour at a museum in Germany. Wax figure at Madam Tassaude's, Murals in Rio de Janeiro and Kinshasa.

Tupac will never be forgotten, he's an icon.

I’ve actually seen several upper class high schoolers wearing Deathrow Records t-shirts.

i know i live in cacanada but i swear a lot of these young kids be wearing 2pac or death row tshirts :yeshrug: plus a lot of the young rappers either sample, dedicate or compare themselves to Pac

the poetic justice graphic t is everywhere.... sold out on fashion nove, pacsun, forever21.... i know it aint grown and paid people be shopping at those shops

Also poetic Justice hoodies

Gen Z wears 90's rap and/or just 90's pop culture shirts as a fashion statement, even if they aren't familiar with the source. I've seen kids wearing Death Row, Wu, Tribe, Pac, etc. shirts.

Having said that, I know teens that listen to both Pac and BIG. Mostly Pac. Not saying they play whole albums but they are well aware of who he is and know his hits.

Anyway, the idea that gen Z has forgotten about Pac is hilarious. Gen Z was raised by Gen X, who treats Pac like a deity. A lot of gen Z heard 90's rap from their parents.

I don't like how he defends the young nikka mediocrity but he's right, we can't assume someone born in 91 and 01 are going to look at Pac or that era in general the same.
When I told u these young nikkas wasn’t fukkin wit Jay or Nas or none of these nikkas like that u was arguing with me. Now u using that argument to argue against me? Lol. Funny shyt.
The bolded is why he switched up lol

I get what u saying op. Pac is being lost a bit. He has no voice in the mainstream at all. Nobody. Big got Puff & Jay. Pac has no one. And it’s showing by how many videos I see talking about him with no care in the world

this is an interesting point about Big having more advocates than Pac. My counterpoint would be that Pac still has people like Snoop and Dre riding for him, I mean shyt it was only a few years ago they brought out the 2Pac hologram and the whole world was buzzing off that shyt.

Also, the fact that Pac has less people talking about him as much almost puts him more in a rarified air, it’s like that 48 Laws of Power shyt where Absence increases power. Nowadays when a story about Pac is told people are tuned in always

Pac is the last artist to be forgotten about:mjlol: there are artist from the 00s that will be forgotten about before Pac.(and i say that with no disrespect, just is what it is)

every story, leak, and discussion on him gets views. goes viral etc.

and speaking as someone who is in that 25 and under age range. Pac is the most popular 90s artist among people my age and under fukk with.

only 90s artist fukked with as much by young nikkas is Lauryn Hill(more so the women), and Outkast(3 stacks). Which is why for young nikkas like me you always see these 3 mentioned alot.

Of course it was. Cause it was an argument that young nikkas don’t fukk wit Nas and I said they don’t fukk wit Jay like that either. nikka started posting videos n shyt tryna prove me wrong when I could literally do the same for Nas. Lol. But the general consensus youngin’s ain’t fukkin wit either one heavy and shyt they barely even fukk wit Cole, Kendrick and Drizzy at this point.
