I'm not feeling 60's R&B like that ... I guess because they used it so much in movies that it seems almost corny now.

Plus I'm feeling the 10's

The new batch of artists coming up now have next ...

Who in the 10's should I be checking out? Besides Leon Bridges I don't feel like there is much.

I'm one of those types that when I hear a song too much I stop appreciating it /hate it.
I'm not saying that it isn't good but I heard it too much to really appreciate it and think of it as something I would want to just zone out and listen to if that makes any sense (as I'm typing I know that it doesn't) but that's my pov.

....but that's what makes those songs of that era classic/timeless.

That's my main gripe with those examples is that those R&B beats sound too close to HipHop beats. Before, even when the R&b was influenced by HipHop, it was still easy to tell the difference between the two.
