Basically I got a job offering paying me close to 90k but its in NYC, manhattan to be exact. I know it has one of the highest cost of livings in the world.

Whats the rent there? and how llow will my standard of living become due to the cost of living

You will not be able to live alone if you live in MAnhattan. You will be living in BKN BX or Qns.

Dont buy or bring your car. Dont get caught up into going out every night after work. Get a side hustle also and you will be fine.

Depends on where and how u wanna live.

Real estate rule there is your income divided by 40 is what they will lease to you. So you will be able to spend $2,250/mo on an apartment (if your credit is good).

U can actually get a lot in the city for that price

You gonna have to live in BK, Queens, or the Bronx.

Actually BK is getting just as expensive as manhattan ( unless you move far out to places like Sunset park, Canarsie and such)

Well most people get roommates but you don't have to live in Manhattan, yaknow. There's like 4 other boroughs + Jersey and you'll have an hour commute at worst.
