Don't waste your time been there done that. It you want it close for good get a a rubber band to temporary close it and get a permeant retainer or veneers.

You can use those dental rubber bands for braces or the small clear goody hair rubber bands. The latter is stronger and closes faster. You get the braces rubber band from from a local ortho or amazon. And the goody bands from any grocery store. Get what ever size you need and put it around your gap and make sure it feels tight like it closing your teeth together. My dentist said it was ok lol she actually was impressed.

That's how I felt after I got my braces off. Just look at teeth first and any little imperfection is like it gets better.
