You can use those dental rubber bands for braces or the small clear goody hair rubber bands. The latter is stronger and closes faster. You get the braces rubber band from from a local ortho or amazon. And the goody bands from any grocery store. Get what ever size you need and put it around your gap and make sure it feels tight like it closing your teeth together. My dentist said it was ok lol she actually was impressed.

I did the orthro bands for a little while. It made my gap smaller... i just couldn't do the pain though.

That actually works pretty well. My bro did that, and his gap was gone in about 2 weeks (no lie). You gotta be careful tho, they might slide up in your gums when you sleep and cause havoc.

It does naturally create a gap on the other side of your teeth, but that gap is much less noticeable and no one really cares about it anyway
