You proved my point. The leave average in this era is in the 80's that in itself proves stats don't tell the whole story. Rogers has only been to ONE super bowl as well. He's a great player but I can't respect or even pay attention to offensive stats in this era. Stats use to mean something but how can you possibly put weight to them now?

U can put Rodgers in ANY era and it wouldnt change the fact that he is the most complete QB. His accuracy, mobility,arm strength, vision and decision making has nothing to do with his stats or what the current rules are.

To me there is no greatest at the QB spot because too many great players played there to just nullify one as the GOAT. Rodgers is playing just as good if not better then anybody i've seen. nikkas is knocking him for playoff wins (even though he has a winning record) acting like that aint a team effort.

Most cats have a love/hate relationship with stats based on whether or not they support their bias. The same people bemoaning "stat nerds" are often the same people using stats when they support their stance.

In terms of the GOAT argument it aint a question of stats, because stats aren't what we are talking about. We are talking about at THIS moment in time, is Rodgers greater than any other QB at ANY GIVEN MOMENT in their career.
The problem with that question is that a lot of younger kids didn't see Marino/Montana/etc outside of youtube, and a lot of older dudes who did see those guys have "back in the day" complexes and can't ever accept that anything now can be better than something from then
All I know for sure is if I were to start a franchise today and I had a pick of any QB in history, my #1 is gonna be ARod
