I have suddenly become really interested in being vegan. At this moment I honestly dont feel like it would be a big deal to give up meat because I havent been eating it that much anyway besides a couple bbqs this year. My only concern is that I have never seen a buff vegan. Im not trying to get snapped like a twig if i get in a fight. But then again I could probably out run most of the fat assess in this country on a vegan diet:ohhh:

yah nikkkas watch too much tv.

i've met and became a vegans from a few dudes that came out of prison all cut up. also, i go to the gym and know vegan fighters!

people think they only way you can get protein is from meat but that ain't true. nikkas is uneducated and simpletons when it comes to they diet, when you a vegan you get creative and always come up with new recipes for your liking.

been doing this shyt for almost 10 years, no protein powders either.

all of these dudes are vegan.

I've been vegan for a minute now. Just completed a new personal push up record last week (110 diamonds in a row)

To add to what another poster in here was saying about "protein"... It's one of the most misunderstood things if not the most when it comes down to diet. The meat industry also most likely funds a bunch of jargon around the topic.

Protein isn't even a thing. It's the combination of all the necessary amino acids the body can utilize. Now knowing that, our bodies more easily digest "protein" from vegetables and fruits that are whole foods! Any other creatures on earth eat all parts of their prey including organs, etc in order to get all those amino acids to receive adequate amounts of protein.

A lot of people walking around "swole" not just solely from training but because their diets are so acidic that their bodies tend to hold more water weight to help alkalinize the situation.

All in all, the average human diet leaves a lot to be desired.

@Blank @NEEMO @Willy Waffle I appreciate the insight brehs. I was mostly joking about the whole being frail thing, but I was actually concerned about eventually needing more "proteins" to bulk up but that has already been cleared up. Ultimately I'm not trying to look like those meat heads at the gym that can't lift their arms up all the way anyway. I'd rather go for a lean build.

I been doing a vegetarian diet for the past month and a half. The results are great I lost about 12 pounds so far and I do feel much lighter after every meal. Usually after eating lunch I could feel the itis kicking in when I was eating meat, not anymore I'm way more energetic after meals.

When I first started the diet I gave myself the flexibility to eat meat once a day with only one meal. After the first two weeks I didn't have to adhere to those stipulations. Because I found so many ways to eat good vegetarian meals that are very fulfilling and delicious.

When I started this diet I was on the first belt hole, now I'm on the third one. This has been one of the best things I did.
