You would be correct. Farming everything :leon:
It's one of my goals right now. Get my bread up and get some land. Start hiring these peasants to care for it like a king. Find me a queen along the way to feed me grapes:blessed:

What made you go back to meat then? Btw not to sound cheesy or whatever but 4 years is still commendable. I'm not even sure if I can commit to this at all
Hit me in my inbox man. I'll walk you through it. I doubt I'll be allowed to have a serious conversation in public.

Don't be discouraged or encouraged by anyone my guy. Just do what's best for or most interesting for you. I'll say this publicly, don't jump into either lifestyle cold turkey.

The road to veganism from being an omnivore should be a long one. Learn to love the difference of foods. Learn to not want meat rather than replace it with alternative protein sources.

Substituting meat is a bad goal to go into this with. That's how you end breaking your diet and having to start all over. If you're aiming to substitute meat you'll alway crave it deep down

20 plus years and counting. Much easier today to be vegetarian/vegan with the number of high protein meat substitutes than when I started. And for those inclined, so long as you keep your protein intake correct you won't lose muscle mass. Godspeed and check out the vegan aisle in Whole Foods friend.

I was vegetarian for almost 2 year and I have flexed in and out for the last 7. I did it for health and environmental reasons. My body also doesn't really process meat that well, I just like the way it tastes or I get lazy because no one else in my circle is veg, too. Right now, I'm going fully vegan and I'll be done with cheese next week.

I feel generally better when I don't eat animals and I'm slowly transitioning from just having a vegan diet to a whole lifestyle. It has also affected my personality for the better because I pay much more attention to detail. I end up learning a lot because I'm constantly reminded of how things really work in this world. I appreciate the awareness.

One thing that irritates me is people looking at what I'm eating. I don't really talk that much about it. However, probably because I'm a black dude and I'm supposed to be dancing and ravaging chicken, ribs, and what not, people eventually ask "are you vegetarian? weird. i wouldn't have expected that.". I normally lie or tell them to go fukk themselves. What kind of loser is up in somebody else's plate? :snoop:

I even have black friends that want to comment on shyt. Jokes are fine, don't get me wrong. I just ain't in the mood to be explaining my entire life every time I sit down and eat with someone.

Don't let that part discourage you, though. It can be annoying as shyt and there are already a few bytch ass carnivores in this thread :pachaha:

I say, don't make it a big deal, and try it out. The longer you do it, the more you learn. You can decide if you want to do it anyway. Also, remember that it is almost impossible to be %100 vegan. most of the people you will come across will eat/use animal products if they need to. Also there are random mistakes like gelatin, candies, and certain beers that are made of animals.

This is too true.

I have a white female colleague who turned Vegan like 4 years after I did and NOBODY calls her out or questions her or raises on eyebrow on her being vegan.

When it comes to me the first thing they'll ask is if it's for religion :stopitslime:

@Yuffie. I was actually kind of anticipating that because for whatever reason, people like to think that because you are abstaining from something that they regularly do; that you think you are better than them or something. Most of the time, those type of people project their insecurities onto you

Oh I know. That's why half the they ask why I do it I say "it's because I'm better than you". I'm kind of an a$$hole so it's not ever that big of a deal for me to be short with people.

I have been both and I don't find either sustainable if you want to be active and keep any sort of weight on you. You end of eating a lot of carbs which are worse for you than meat.
