Dentists and Orthodontists have to deal with a lot of disgusting and intricate procedures outside of the normal cleanings and checkups, they earn their money .

Even better is the oral surgeon (people who extract wisdom teeth etc), that shyt was expensive as hell - I know that snide mf rich as fukk


I'll never discount a medical professional (doctors,dentists, even nurses) a lot of the things they deal with are crazy . CNAs this does not include you

Thats kind of a lot of money compared to other jobs . I get it though for some of the things you have to put up with . You end up becoming a real nurse or just left the field altogether?

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree
• GPA: 2.85
• Total Science GPA: 2.85
• DAT: 18 (in each of the eight categories)

That’s one school. If that’s your argument then use Howard as your example; don’t use one school as a total representation of all dental schools. You also have to understand (and respect) why Howard (HBCU) qualifications are lower compared to other schools.

Exactly. I look at dentists with the same respect as the medical doctor. Oral health is just as important. A lot of times if you go they can detect things early like gum disease, heart disease, and in certain cases cancer.

FYI, SOME dentists do ceanings. They probably shouldn't because other treatments bring more money.
My current office has 4 hygienists (including myself), and NONE of the dentists do cleanings. But one of the offices I worked at 10 years ago, some of the dentists did cleanings, even though they had a hygienist.

Also, dentists should be making well over $100K. I almost make that amount, and I only have an associates.
