:francis: just say you don't watch them breh.
Maybe the games I watched wasn’t the representation but both thunder games the mavs game and some other game he got his layups and close shots off cuts he got a nice pull up jumper now but he got dunks off missed assignments he wasn’t breaking anybody down. He’s a straight line driver for right now which is okay. Correct me if I’m saying something wrong.

Ingram has improved alot this season, but it's still too early to tell. When he was first drafted he was getting Durant comparisons, but Durant was a big scorer from day 1 in the league. Ingram just doesn't have that in him, maybe he can carve out a nice career as a 18-20ppg guy who plays good defense, but I don't think he will ever become a superstar as his draft position suggests he would have.
Exactly. Since day one I couldn’t see what everyone was seeing in him. He has that Derrick Rose/Andrew Wiggins disposition about him.

16 ppg 46% FG 39% 3P 68%FT 5.3 rpg 3.7 apg 2.5 tov 0.7 blk 0.8 stl

Vs

16.4 ppg 53% FG 0% 3P (!) 57% FT 7.7 rpg 7.3 apg 3.7 tov 1.8 stl 0.9 blk

How is that not comparable? Ingram also doesn’t have an Embiid taking pressure off him every night. He also is way more clutch and reliable in tight games.
2.5 more rebounds
3.4 more assist
1 whole steal
7% higher FG shooting

That’s not really “comparable” ... their PPG is comparable ... but the rest of their stats really aren’t

Anyways to answer OP question he had a horrible rookie year and look physically in over his head ... he has bounced back this year and looks promising ...if he continues to improve defensively and his shot becomes more reliable and consistent he has a chance to be really good

This is off one game but if he had a signature, it would be crossover at the top, then getting in the lane and either getting fouled or getting a lay up. Like this

That's literally how he gets most his points.

Those are all straight line drives he’s just blowing past defenders not breaking down a defense and he gets a lot of his points from jumpers

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
come playoff-time in late game situations where the game is slower and defense is tighter...you will care. being a 3-level scorer has alot of value in this league, even bron has to shoot jumpers each game to keep the defense honest, ESPECIALLY as a primary ball handler. thats why ben often disappears in the 4th. 75% of ben points come within 10ft of the basket. and he shoots 55% from the line. that simply wont hold up in the playoffs
We'll have to see how things play out, it's not like Ingram is a sniper himself anyway. He shoots a nice percentage from 3, but it's on extremely low volume. If we're comparing stats, that's all irrelevant about 3 level scoring. Ben's got a post game which should become more prevelant in the playoffs. Ingram also is in transition more frequently than Simmons, Ben does a ton of work versus set defenses all the time.

Y’all just going to continue to ignore the three and free throw shooting :mjlol:

Act like 2.5 more rebounds and 3 more assists don’t balance out 0% three point percentage from a wing/guard, brehs :deadmanny:

Yeah but that's not a free lane. It seemed like you were implying that he avoids contact. His 3 % is climbing but i still wouldn't call him a consistent jump shooter, he's super inconsistent at the free throw line as well.

Nah he’s stronger and not avoiding contact like last year I think you misunderstood some of the things I said
