That’s fine if you think Simmons’ numbers are better but there is absolutely an argument when many categories are close or in some cases better for Ingram. Ingram also doesn’t have glaring holes in his game like Ben.
Where in raw counting stats are they close? Scoring is the only real comparable area. Rebounds are not close. Assists are not close. Steals are not close. Holes in your game don't matter if we're comparing counting stats like this.

Ingram also doesn’t have to create offense for others he’s a play finisher like a more aggressive Otto porter right now. He will get better and I think he has borderline all star potential but yeah this year there impact isn’t close.
actually yes he does. he plays point forward all the time, do you not watch games? And Simmons plays PG, creating offense for others is literally all he does actually

Because you are leaving out shooting. The most important thing in the modern game. The game is about putting the ball in basket. Simmons can’t do that outside of 5 feet.

He passes the ball yes but he’s not the primary or secondary ball handler, he does have good vision but his ball handling limits things.
Why do you post about shyt you don't watch:dwillhuh:

Ingram has no handles:francis:

Why lie on the man like that:hhh:

nikkas are desperate for human interaction today:hubie:

If you learned how to read you would see I never said he had no or bad handles I just said it limits him being able to be a primary ball handler. He’s good at straight line drives and getting to the basketball but if he has a defender chest up on him he’s not able to break them down yet. I’m not saying he won’t be able to but compare his ball handling to Simmons it’s night and day. Now what did I say inaccurate.

He's playing point forward right now...
So go take a nap and try again with a new made up talking point

16 points off layup lines is cool and he’s a good defender but none of that makes him better than Ingram right now
His impact on the game is more on all levels accept being able to shoot threes his percentage from 15 to 19 is even decent. He’s the more impactful player and he is on lineups that have some of the best net rating. Stop this Ingram crap because last year the 6ers were decent without Simmons this year there already 4 games over .500 and getting better over the last month they’ve been blowing teams out and it isn’t just Embiid it’s simmons too. He initiates offense through half court and transition and is one of the better help side defenders, which is why teams can’t score when him and Embiid are in the game.

Point forward are not his offense isn’t coming from him breaking down the defense off pick and rolls and other play styles that demand him have the ball, he gets his buckets from cuts to the basket, straight line drives, jump shots and good feel. Point forward means a lot of things it doesn’t mean he’s Lamar Odom with the ball.

the only player on that list i would take over ingram is simmons and i think they're closer than ppl think.

ingram is gonna be a consistent all-star level player. he can get to the basket against most defenders and is starting to hit those mid-range jumpers consistently. the only problem i see with him right now is he's passive at times.

tatum is good but i think he's close to hitting his ceiling. i've only seen two suns games this year (killed by spurs and warriors) and they're awful so it's hard to take jackson's stats seriously. wiggins is similar to derozan to me and that's not good for someone on a max contract.

Yall really thinking Ingram is comparable to Simmons

Ben Simmons a legit 6'10 PG and is fighting for a playoff spot...

Ingram looks like he is still in high school.

He ain't even the best wing on his own team right now....
