10 seasons, 3 Pro Bowls, 1 MVP, 1 first-time All-Pro....the only way a QB is getting into the HOF with that resume is winning Super Bowls.

Steve McNair isn’t a HOFer and is somewhat similar in resume. 13 seasons, 3 Pro-Bowls, 1 MVP, also 0-1 in the SB.

Randall Cunningham isn’t in. 4 Pro Bowls, 1 first team All Pro, he finished 2nd in MVP voting 3 times. He probably should have won in 90’, when he was 9th in rushing yards and 2nd in TD passes. But he never got past the NFC title game.

Ken Anderson made 4 Pro Bowls, 1 MVP, 1 first team all-Pro, 4 times leading in passer rating. 0-1 in the SB, and not in. Ken Stabler made 4 Pro Bowls, 1 MVP, 1 first team All-Pro, and is 1-0 in the Super Bowl. He’s in the HOF (although it took him awhile).

People look at QBs like they do at NBA players in that so much is about winning a title. They’re more fair with non-QBs but they’re overall harsh with QBs and SBs
