Like who?
Off the top, Mike Vick, Mcnabb, Cunningham…then guys like Eli Manning, Philip Rivers (both of whom really may not get in with their CVs), Matthew Stafford when it’s said and done, Matt Ryan when it’s said and done. I’m sure I’m missing a few. All these guys will have the stats and accolades to be in the convo and they probably still won’t enter. The NFL HoF Is cut throat when it comes to selecting QBs. There are too many QBs in Cams own era that he won’t have a case over. The only locks for QB right now are Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson.

I wouldn't think so.
But the NFL Hall of Fame doesn't seem to have an identifiable standard for what defines a Hall of Famer -- seemingly more so in recent years.

If you were to look at the quarterback position during Cam Newton's career (currently 2011 through 2020), it's hard to argue that Cam stands out among his peers ( at least to the degree that you'd say he's a HOFer).
He ranks 10th in passing yards and 11th in passing TDs during that time. Hardly impressive, though I will concede that if you add his 70 rushing touchdowns, it does boost his overall TDs to 260 -- which puts him around the middle of the pack.

Toss in his MVP -- for whatever that's worth...I suppose that boosts his argument. But again...is he in that Russell Wilson/Aaron Rodgers/Drew Brees/Tom Brady territory in this past decade? I'm not so sure.
