Is Chrono Trigger too dated to play for the first time in 2016?

The soundtrack. The characters. The story. The settings.

The SNES at its finest.

:ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd:

The sequel coulda been better though.

Way too many characters as padding.

Chrono Trigger is one of the best games period. Multiple endings and the story throughout changes depending on your decisions, which aren't as clear cut like the modern tell tale games that straight up ask you what you want to do. Things you had no clue would be affecting anything will change the outcome. Fantastic pacing, great music, all the characters are memorable. Start playing it asap and enjoy the ride.
Woah bruh :whoa: CT is a classic nut don't throw TellTale under the bus. The decisions you have make in Game of Thrones had me questioning who I am as a person :whew:

Golden Age RPG. Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3 is GOAT level), CT, Secret of Nevermore(lol), and Xenogears were the wave.

Not too many people liked it but I thought Chrono Cross was fukking amazing considering what they had to do.
