Is Chrono Trigger too dated to play for the first time in 2016?

I could never get into Secret of Mana. I think it was the battle system.

A friend of mine, growing up, loved it up though.

I can't see too many musical contenders with Chrono Trigger during that era but I'll have to revisit Secret of Mana's OST.

I actually just started playing this last night on a Snes Emulator. I use some complicated shyt but you can just simply get a simple emu and emulate it.

Chrono Cross is also an amazing game to play. Basically like the sequel. It's like Trigger on steroids with the amount of characters you can have in your party.

Retroarch on the PC is dope. Game looks nice on my TV.

It's also a great game to be playing for my JPN. I think this nikka said something about him hearing about some big attack or war from some "bad" army or monster or something hundreds of years ago.

This game is really good and this is even with about 40-50% comprehension(I'm playing it in Japanese). I just found this computer that Lucca used and saw some destruction of the Guardia by ラヴォス(Lavos?) on it. They're basically presently in their future .

Why are you playing it in Japanese ? The localisation is good, and I first played it in 2000 on an emulator. It's widely available.

I'm playing it in JPN on purpose. I'm learning Japanese. I understand a bit. I just got the robot Lucca fixed up. I'm at Prometheus Dome in the the future A.D.1999 so far. About 9 hours?

FF developers live in a bubble. They think convuluted story and graphics define FF. Classic FF and Chrono Trigger are relatively simple games story wise but create worlds u get immersed into. Plus turn based combat is strategic and even with the time function in CT and ff4 onward the battle system is chill, which lends itself to enjoying ur experience.

Sad thing is u look at FFXV threads and brehs are stanning over graphics and the removal of turn based combat into frantic real time basic action game nonsense. since the OG creator dipped all FF games have been absolute trash.
