I just saw that thread about historical black colleges falling off, it made me realize i'm not the only one who noticed something but i think the concept of everybody going to college is starting to die, for all colleges

i've been going to a university computers a couple times a week for maybe 3 years or so and for 2 years before that went to school.

i swear this year it seems like half the people are there. maybe people are realizing it's not what it's advertised as

If everyone out here getting degrees they don't rlly mean shyt anymore.

It's supply and demand

Yes, but this translates to higher requirements, as in grad school/work experience. You make it seem like companies are gonna start hiring high school grads because too many people have college degrees.

college is a bubble, once kids stop caring about the party and sex aspect, because thats why they go....they dont care about an education

Truth Truth Truth

Once everyone realizes they don't have to go $50,000+ in debt to party its over with. Especially when people figure out how much more sense it makes to get a trade and go to a community college and start your own business. Going to school for 4-6+ years just to get into MASSIVE debt and take orders from some :ld: isn't the wave

People flooded colleges after the manufacturing jobs left. That created the market for bulshyt degrees and institutions. You can get a BA from a cracker jack box now. value is tied to scarcity so you need a masters to compete. But the white collar jobs outside of stem are drying up too.
(And thats next). There really is no point unless you study stem or go to a top 25 school.

A high school diploma with 4 years of relevant work exp looks a lot better to these Hiring managers than diploma plus college degree these days :mjcry: shyt or at least it feel like it
