it should, if ur not in STEM, why would go to college? u can teach yourself anything with the internet and use social media to find clients....most ppl r lazy tho

Even Stem majors are experiencing lower wages. That's sad that the economy has boiled down to this. Higher educated but lower standard of living.

you have to finesse, like anything else in life

go to a top school -> finesse those connections -> profit
major in business, STEM, humanities -> finesse the degree into the industry you want to springboard in -> profit

i have friends who graduated with degrees in the humanities making six figures at 23- 25 in management consulting.
have another friend who graduated with a degree in CS/math in 2011 in makes 170k at a very reputable tech company as a product manager.
i similarly have friends who haven't been able to jumpstart their careers because they lack the ability to finesse their abilities


the market is saturated with degrees, how can you distinguish yourself? your mouthpiece and writing skills will play a significant role in that, in many instances. college won't guarantee your success in that regard.

Yep, no STEM major will force me how much a can make (legally). Not worth sacrificing my humanity for a major that drives people insane.

I dropped out of school to get a job like that. Was supposed to have a degree and I was no where close to one. The lady who hired me was the widow of this dude my pops helped out back in the day. nikka literally went from barely going to class and smoking weed and shooting dice in the breezeway one week to wearing a shirt and tie the next. A whole bunch of that shyt is who you know. It's just us Black folks who are tricked into thinking it's 100% hard work.

Straight up, I know a few people who dot have the right degrees for the jobs they have.
This one chick I know was due to be the manager of an ICU but hopped on social media humble bragging about how she was blessed because she was under qualified for the position. One of her hating freinds snitched, the hiring manager got exposed then got canned and the broad lost the position before she even got it, all cause she couldn't keep her mouth shut.
