People need to understand, these are just laws for us.. in the US.
Thailand has like an age of consent at like 12 or some shyt.. it’s why them pedos like going there.
some countries (like japan i think) have extremely low AOC laws compared to the US. Some states even have it at like 15 or 16. Thats crazy but true... even back in the day women were getting married as teenagers... some younger.
So 22 with a 17 year old is in a grey area for me. I don’t really care knowing that when he/she is 25 the other person will be 30. It’s a little far off but not really in the grand scheme of things.
Most people got to remember the age gaps of your parents too, and when they decided to get married or have kids. It was probably on something similar in age range

There are some young women who graduate from high school at 17 and may not turn 18 until maybe a month into their freshman year of college. That's the only grey area where I wouldn't have an issue.
If the 22 year old met the 17 year old during her freshman yr of college right before she turned 18 then no foul on the play
