Is drake gonna reply to Hov as man, or more sneaky passive aggressiveness?

In this era Drake can go at Jay Z and turn him into a meme, the late 90's millennials dont respect the gods.

He turned Meek into a meme and Meek still got 3-4 plaques a year after people claimed his career was over. And Meek clearly isn't remotely on the same level as Jay.

That's the thing about this meme generation....memes and internet jokes are not meant to last.

The youth would shyt on Jay
But not the radio stations

No one in power is gonna call Jay corny

Drake can't just meme Jay
Exactly. Cats don't understand how instrumental the "system" was in Drakes win over Meek. You knew that the fight was fixed when major corporations started joining in to clown Meek. Jay ain't Meek.

Meek just isn't very smart. That's been shown to be clear time after time. He can't be as calculated because he lacks the necessary intelligence to pull off being stealthy. Sad but true

He underestimated Drake greatly, and it cost him his reputation. Luckily, Meek only has to put out heat to redeem himself (Which he's been doing), but this never would've happened if he had all his chips in order BEFORE he launched an attack at Drake. He should've had at least 5 fail-safe strategies when going into it.

I'm not even sure what Meek was thinking when he was going into this, like... There's no way he could've thought that Drake wasn't gonna respond. Maybe he thought Charged Up was all he had in the tank. But the fact that he let Drake strike twice and then dropped a weaker track in response was poor judgement. It was such a disappointment, because I really wanted to see the rap game ACTUALLY be competitive for once. Everybody's cool with doing them, and I have no issues with that, but... I love the competition aspect of the culture. It brought out the best in artists and people could debate all night long about which artist was better or who killed who on a track. Now, you don't really get that.

Lil Wayne is right. Besides Kendrick, Drake and Cole, nobody's really rapping like they want to be the best rapper alive anymore. There's a reason why everyone's drawn to rap fukkery.

Alot people respect jay
Even radio personality wont allow drizzy to disrespect hov the gawd
Hov and nas are probably the only legends that people really respect

Eminem also fits into this. Despite how internet fans might trash him, nobody in the industry with notoriety would dare disrespect Eminem. Even Jay and Nas hold him highly.

Thing with Eminem is, he just raps because it's all he really knows what to do now. So he's like the legend who's off in his own world doing whatever. However, if you manage to overstep your boundaries, you basically woke up a bear. Regardless though, one thing's for certain, like Nas and Jay, Eminem does this rap shyt for real.

Reading this thread makes me wonder if those who are co-signing Drake remember that 9/10 songs that make Drake relevent were proven to be written by someone else.

Meek's mistake was letting it be a "rap" battle.

Once you exposed someone for cheating its not about the sport anymore.

Drake could have dropped 10000+ disses, if Meek stood his ground that Drake aint write shyt; Drake would be irrelevent now. Once Meek forgot his narrative for going at Drake in the first place, the advantage was lost.

Think of two weight lifters, one using steroids and another doing it natural. Once the guy is exposed for using steroids by the other guy it would be stupid to enter a weight lifting competition with the steroid user.
