The obvious decline in quality shows a lack of discernment for his reputation or even respect for the music/art he's putting out is proof enough. It's one thing to challenge yourself, there's serious intent, it's another to drop a fourteen song project of reggie then act like you're ahead of the curve when you get called out for selling bad product. He's ahead of the curve for lowering the bar than it already is.

People looked at Eminem and it was obvious he was white. Nobody looked at Drake and instantly knew he was Jewish. People on here act like Drake was Matisyahu. And even weirder is the whole "nerd" title as if that doesn't apply to a lot of rappers. And its even street and hood dudes that are straight up nerds. People here when they really dislike an artist will go against reason, logic, and obvious facts because it doesn't fit the narrative. Anyone that disagrees with the narrative is labeled a stan or worse.

I wouldn't underestimate people listening to those three records who aren't usually Drake listeners actually - the whole world wanted to hear his response to the allegations and the whole world wanted to know WTF Drake was gonna say over the BBL Drizzy beat and if it might be enough to get another chapter in the story.

Now it's clear it's not continuing the story those people will just stop listening to him to the dislikes might go with them.

The important bit is how many are left after that - no doubt it just got a LOT less cool to be a Drake fan. That happened to Michael at times but he still died with a sold out World Tour - the difference with Drake might be that even if Michael was stained with the rumours, his artistic and cultural credentials were NEVER questioned... even people who straight up hated him because they believed all the allegations still bump Thriller in the car and called him the King Of Pop.

Drake has been painted as CORNY in such a savage and total way that with the rumours ON TOP it might really be over.
