Is El-P an insufferably wack CAC or a genius?

Never listened to his stuff before RTJ. While Mike is scoring triple doubles on records, El is get a feasible 10-8-5 sometimes a double double.

:manny:

But his verse on Huzzah Remix is amazing.

Never listened enough to make a fair assesment. From what I've heard, I didn't like it. Maybe I should check it out again, but I never really dug that whole underground movement, apart from a few exceptions like Copywrite or Cage.

El-P has an unorthodox CACy rapping voice, but I think he's lyrically dope. Lyrically fun even. He's being himself.

I think he's a dope rapper, his production is hit or miss, but his skills on the mic are legit, but he is very 'underground' if that makes any sense and it won't appeal to everyone.

Nobody here was a graph writer back then?

This was my theme song. I love how big jus talks about seeing nice shyt on trains and being inspired by that.

I am a 32 year CPA with 2 kids, and I still got respect for a nice piece on the freeway sign, or the train.

And I still have better can control and overall skill the average bytch-ass kid that ain't writing nothing but bullshyt.

Folks talk about how they were hip-hop heads back then. Who actually out here living that life here?

No graf writer here, but love that track. One of my Co-Flow faves.

I'm not gonna front, I had ZERO can control and what few tags I did throw up have long since been buffed. But the squad I ran with were heavy writers and destroyed Camden around this time. One of my rhyme partners back then made the papers as a target of the anti-graf task force around our way.

Lune TNS is my second favorite track off that album, topped only by Krazy Kings. I think Lune TNS is probably the illest beat on the whole album.

Somewhere in the middle.

Good producer. He can spit reasonably well. I can't decipher much of what he's saying but I think he's upped his bars considerably since linking up with Killer Mike.

RTJ1 and 2 stay on heavy rotation for my gym/running playlist.

For the most part he generally rhymes like he's spitting off the top. This might well be the case.
