I agree on the bold. I forget which record/song it was but he mentioned having too many yes men in his creative circle and him not wanting that. If there is something missing its that dynamic, with that rectified you get back to not caring about the critics.

Personally I dont care what he does, he's earned the right to explore creatively/other ways to drop a rap. Rapping the same gets boring to some.

i agree, i want him to explore and play around.

he just need a get off his current robot nonsense

and get less yes men

@Shogun the thing about Relapse though is that the people that say it's not that bad tend to say so for different reasons than what a lot of people think.

The thing with Relapse is that it's the last time his flow sounded insane without sounding like he was trying to force it. It's the last time he wasn't yelling at us all the time. And the production was fire. it sounded like and and Dre locked themselves away from the world and made an album that they didn't care about how it was received commercially. It sounded crazy at the time and was a let down, but in hindsight I think it's dope that they basically dropped a concept horrorcore themed album as a major label release.

Em has not rhymed as effortlessly since Relapse. That's the most comfortable he's sounded on any album since his early days IMO.

Cats harped on the accent/ridiculed him bad for it, but I dont believe he would have made it a permanent mainstay for future albums :mjlol:. It was simply just a tool for the character on that album and to enunciate words. That whole fiasco caused an avalanche of hits, misses and self doubt :francis:. shyt reminded me of Tiger Woods putting on too much muscle and going through all of those different golf swings while still being technically sound.

At least you acknowledging something been wrong with this nikka

I have two theories, either he always had a ghost writer and his new ghost writer is just trash

It's not really Eminem, but a body double he hired to be him to fulfill his contract, because he don't feel like rapper

or this nikka been living such a recluse life, he's just out of touch with music
Most likely this, lol.

Relapse is very cathartic for me, still my favorite Em album to listen to when I don't want to just play random joints from him.

That's exactly what it is, on top of him never really having a high degree of musicality in the first place. And that's cool, but it means you need people who can consistently tap into that for you (Bass brothers/Dre to an extent) and guide you in directions that make sense. Going around getting beats from the 'hot' producers who really don't know you is going to result in a clusterfukk most of the time. It's why a lot of projects from the 90's hit different, there's a missing synergy between the 'producers' and the rappers that you can't really get emailing tracks back and forth.

Get someone he trusts to EP him a project (maybe Kendrick), give him some fresh experiences/input and let him fill in the blanks.

Revival ideally should have been Relapse with a different theme. Dre with the lions share of production, concepts/stories and all that. They even hinted at there being a connection with the pharmaceutical promo and then did none of that...

So why does he keep rapping:what:

Just use writers. So many ppl inspired by you, why not let them contribute to an eminem problem and modernize it.

And that’s what I mean by get writers. He needs to be coached but he’s uncoachable.

On second that, all his kids are wack, and the two kids he had that was nice, juice n xxx, ain’t here no more :unimpressed:

They crafted his commercial sound in hits

Eminem use to be able to rap, I never disputed this

now he can't rap at all, he is just wack, the nikkaz has been pure ass for a long time, he got bodied by MGK I mean damn
