Is Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP a Classic?

I remember this album dropping

it is very good but a couple of songs could have been cut from it.

Not as good as Slim shady LP tho

album is horrible. eminem has been making terrible music for most of his career and i understand one being fooled by mtv/magazines and cacs saying this was a classic when you were younger but once you grow up and start appreciating music and don't need propaganda to tell you what's true or not, to still think of it as a classic is an active attack and insult at your own potential intelligence.

i mean, the shyt is full of verses like this:

why would anyone go back and listen to this corny garbage i honestly don't know.

Dudes in here literally saying THIS is from a "consensus classic"

Someone actually said "if he was black, everyone would call it a classic"

How the fukk a grown man sit there and call this timeless music? And the whole album is full of corny trash like that verse.

Its a personal classic for me cuz I was like 12 when it dropped and was starting to rap myself so I felt inspired by eminems lyricism... I fukk with most songs on the album too...

Kill You, Stan, The Way I Am, I'm Back, Remember Me, Marshall Mathers, Under The Influence, and Criminal

I can see why a lotta people dont consider it great or classic but in my humble opinion its eminems best album (I've only listened to his first 3 albums in their entirety)

The album could do without the 4 skits... Kim its a crazy cinematographic song but it has no replay value, Who Knew and Drug Ballad I never cared for, and Amityville and bytch Please II are cool but they not the first songs I go to when I listen to the album...

I'll call it a classic cuz of nostalgia and bc some of the songs I can still play to this day and still be amazed by eminems rapping...

I love Jigga but for the love of everything sacred, that avatar had me wanting to shoot a fair one with my computer screen.

Nope.. Shock factor was the main attraction to this album not the production.. It was the controversy that brought the sales to this album

I'd rather listen to Tyler the creator at least he has a ear for good production
